Ministry History
After being invited by a national pastor, Tito Rodriguez, to come serve in Mexico Vineyard Christian Fellowship ministries (La Viña Comunidad Cristiana) Melissa and Tim moved to Fresnillo, Zacatecas in October 1995. As we began assisting in ministry construction and church remodeling we also began to assist in Children's ministry in the neighborhood of Plutarco located in Fresnillo. As we worked will some of the nationals our Spanish language skills developed. Our children's club also developed into an adult Bible study and a Saturday children's lunch program. Later a small church was started there that we pastored for two years. Following that, we assisted Melissa's parents as they started a La Viña church in Zacatecas, Zacatecas.

At the time we were ministering in Plutarco we were introduced to Lorenzo Castillo who had begun to minister to the Tepehuan Indian tribe in the mountains of the Sierra Madres. I was able to coordinate the construction of a church building for a new and growing Christian indigenous congregation. Later, through our ministry, we raised funds and coordinated the construction of the Tribal Mission Center, which is ministry housing, facilities, and a part time clinic. Currently we are at the Vineyard in Chattanooga, Tennessee and organizing churches and projects to have a greater impact in Latin America.
